This is a dual journey story where "Aida" (the director's mother) confronts the effects of Alzheimer's and memory loss. She finds herself repeatedly yearning to return to the days of her youth in Jaffa; it’s a journey towards a final return to Jaffa, where she will rest forever. It is a tribute to the past and an individual and collective attempt to reclaim memory for Palestinians prohibited from returning to their homeland, even after death.
