It is the only social and street theatre school in Egypt. It aims at establishing new
theatrical stream in Egypt which performs in streets and interacts with people and to
accentuate the role of theatre in opening in-depth political and social justice related
dialogues, among people in villages and in marginalized areas.
NAS hosts twenty five students each round that prolong for 14 months, divided to 11
months of trainings with 750 of training hours, and 3 months for graduation project
and traditional arts.
NAS organize touring performance festival in Egypt to help street theatrical troupes to
organize and perform in different governorates. NAS graduated 25 performers
